A sweet song flits across the air as
You step down to catch the
Fragrance of spring
Sight of you with your loose hair and
Running on the bed of grass
Much solace brings

To a lovelorn heart that has been
For years waiting for love
Now feels blessed
Spring has brought a new hope and
The young hearts are free and
Not feeling stressed

You walk in your majestic gait to
The riverside and wait to
Hear his voice
With the earth draped in colors of
Spring you have to fall in
Love sans a choice
