Losing A Home One Right After Another. Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Losing A Home One Right After Another.

Sitting looking out the window thinking you've been blessed.
Not realizing all the road you still have to travel.
Falling to pieces, no no just yet.
I really don't time for it.
Love never abandons you even when you abandon it.
Happiness in the strangest of places.
On the move with no where go.
The soundness of a tent under a bridge.
The blight eviction, after eviction.
Fines to pay.
Why is it when you doing so well, someone has to sweep there legs under your feet.
Trying not to pretend.
Holy hater, telling you how and where you can live.
Codes full of curse words.
All because someone doesn't like the way something looks.
A way of life without strife.
Your robbing them blind but you don't care.
Non negotiable.
Starting over on my terms is never black and white.
You got to be careful where you put your feet.
The quicksand will suck right on in.
Give me stability, give me a place to permanently rest my head.
Financially secure, yet stuck in world where there no vacancy sign everywhere you look.
Running out of time.
Hurting both the ego and pride.
Working day and night just so all these bad thoughts on my mind.
An escape, a mental numbing experience.
Falling into a stress induced coma.
Going through the motion with you eyes closed.
Can't help but feeling so exposed.
Look at that man with tiny you know what, with a scar you know where.
The laughing continues ringing in your ear.
Going postal thoughts become more and more frequent.
Trying so hard to hold it in, and find another outlet for it.
All because of another human beings vanity.
