So you say that I smell like a pot?
Do you think that I'm starting to rot?
Well, you should have no fear,
for I bathe once a year
whether I need it or not!
i skip bathing in the years i don't need it. i haven't needed one for two years; or is it three? hey, why are all the pedestrians in Times Square moving to the other side of the square? bri ;)
'whether I need it or not! ' I knew that line was coming. The philosophy of the 50's back at the farm. Good show. Kim.
Than you, Spock. I also grew up on a farm. Couldn't wait to go to college to get away from it, and now I kind of miss it. I don't miss getting up at 4: 00 a.m. to milk the cows, and having to be home from school by 4: 00 p.m. to milk them again. I missed a lot of baseball and other games with my friends by having to be home so early.
No, not difficult at all. It just wrote itself in my head and all I had to do was type it up. I no longer try to come up with some new poem every day. Now I wait for them to come to me. The next one might take a month, but I don't really care anymore. I am busy with other things.
Thank you, Savita. I also really like that picture. I have used it before on another poem.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Once a year will do the trick every time for lots of things.
Thank you, Jette. Your comment is appreciated.
