Life Still Goes On Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Life Still Goes On

Rating: 5.0

This valley, this homeland where daffodils grow,
This place i grew up, that i call my own,
Those faces of loved ones are no longer here,
But life still goes on in this valley so dear.
Those days i remember of childhood and fun,
Those best moments cherished beneath the bright sun,
Their memory lives on in this valley so fine,
This is my homeland,
In this Wales i call mine.

A sweet reminiscence of childhood and the bygone times. The depiction of love of the poetess for her homeland is endearing: Those faces of loved ones are no longer here, But life still goes on in this valley so dear". This lovely poem is POD today! Many congratulations! !

The memories live on in this homeland of mine, finest poem ever told, though we are growing old, so the same rythm is told, that's why we'll never grow old
