To Be Near You
Dependant on dreams,
Just to get through,
Hoping each night,
I get to see you.
Eyes closing tight,
Searching for you,
Then there you appear,
Wandering through.
The green summer grass,
In fields of flowers,
I hope that this dream,
Can go on for hours.
From the moment I see you,
I don't want you to go,
I walk right beside you,
Just like before.
I tell you I love you,
And then shed a tear,
How wonderful dreams are,
To just have you near.
