Letting Go Of Secrets Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Feeling delight and joy deeply within, letting go of secrets
that've been hidden for so long, memories that have been etch-
ed in mind and intellect through the years.

Many hurtful, full of pain and sorrow, living with them silently
while writing them out in coded rhythms, tears falling from these blue, green, gray eyes at times.

Having no cognizant awareness to alert this mind, yet they were
awake, acknowledging what was being thought through musical
rhythms and writing them into poetry.
