Left In The Lurch

Rating: 4.0

Left in the lurch
- - - - - - - - - - -
Everything I touch crumbles
Even smile breaks her tenderness
And I look for the sunshine
The sun turns away his countenance
And the moon pauses
Yet in between she wanes
To me all it seems
As if the sun is faithless
Fruitless blossoms are falling
Leaves are dropping
Pulses are stopping
And I chase the wind
Knowing that she can't be tamed
I worry
About what will happen?
What will turn my life around?
That I miss the sunshine
That my heart is laden
With fear and grief
Despite I know the treasure of truth
Everything that happens
Happens to the Will of God
Ephemeral is this world
Here come men and women
And depart at his Will
The whole magnificent phenomenon
Is the expression of his Will
Our life is a field wherein
If we sow the positive
Seeds of the Name Divine
We shall surely reap
A rich harvest of happiness and bliss
Still I worry
Thinking miracles may happen
In this pleasant garden
Where I am born
Spent may be the light
And night may put on her crown
Yet I shall live content with his Will
Without fear, worry and frown

Even when the elements turn hostile and when dear ones fail to understand and reciprocate our love, when life turns dreary at times, it is the abiding faith in God that gives us the strength to wade through the mires of life! Leave everything to His will! I can sense the tinge of pain in these lines and am touched! Great write!
