Let It Be Just You Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Let It Be Just You

Let it be just you
- - - - - - - - - - -
It is a silly thing
That you are not yourself
Seems a soul possessed by a being
Different from you yourself
No two people can be one
As is the fact knows everyone
Yet harmony and happiness
Can live together
Diversity in multiplicity
Is the way of life my dear
To treat people like humans
You don't need them to dress
And talk and behave like you
Nor you need to lose yours
By following them
Unto heaven or hell my dear
Just how to talk to them
And how to respect them
In winsome manner matters
The problem lies here
That there is a lack of respect and care
Nowadays everywhere
Dismissing all mature than you
As not fair
You go by their looks
And not judge what they are
Hence brews intolerance
And fight with each other
If I were to dress the same as you
Would you be my friend my dear

If I were to dress as same, beautiful wording and expressive learning. Nicely penned poem.

We cannot insist that others should be like us in dress, manners and thinking! Each one is unique and we should be able to love and respect others with their individual differences! It is the inside that matters, not the external appearance! Great message, Deepak!
