It Is You Not Her

So bright is your smile
Blank, so go my thoughts for a while
No need to question why
Your amazing look does this
And like glue to you I stick
Coz it’s you and not her

You got beauty of such a flower
And my love for you will pour
Just as the rains showers nature;
Patience is what I will seek of you
Be like the bud, waiting patiently
Ready to spring into a flower;
Girl, wait for my rain of love
Then let your beauty transpire
It is you, not her

Humbleness, modesty
Is in you, so you care for others
The love for others adds to your sweetness
And it’s that kindness that I seek
Girl, your life never makes me sick
Proudly of you, I will speak

Looking at your hands
I know they are affectionate, ready to help and care
I feel them after your every touch
Such warmth that come with it, volumes are speaken
I know my mum, kids, family are in safe hands
I know I can contribute to the world with you
And coz it is you, not her this I write to keep you to understand

Poem of the Day

poet Ralph Waldo Emerson

Knows he who tills this lonely field
To reap its scanty corn,
What mystic fruit his acres yield
At midnight and at morn?

In the long sunny afternoon,
