Despite the distance that separates us

Despite the distance
See how dependent we are on the sun
You are my sunshine
Bringing into my life joy as well as growth

We can't be that far
Like the way the skies are, like the way oceans are
But we can be beautiful
Like the way the skies and oceans are
That we can be on our toes or feet
To take a view at each other

So, that will always bring us together
Hence, not further away
Because, if we are in love
Despite all the differences, difficulties, the distances
We can't be that far
