Interpretation Of A Story Poem by Elena Sandu

Interpretation Of A Story

Rating: 5.0

Day in day out
in repetition
the life's game
we are caught.

Surrounded by walls
the only thing
to cling
is Love.

Here and then
a wake up call
new born or death
comes on the way..

A daughter dies
'Will I see you again? '
asks her mother
But she cannot be heard.

All that a mother
thinks about
is how to keep
The daughter's life.

So hard she tries,
fights everything
the wind, and many gods,
But all in vain, she failed..

At last she has to let
sweet soul to go away
Yet first she eats tiny bits
of memories.

Only to keep
the child's gifts
SWEET LOVE..
Daughter leaves but love
Forever to remain.

Then life could,
can, shall
Start again
Another happiness..
A happy child
And a happier mother.

Day in day out
in repetition,
life's game
we are caught...

Good luck to all my dear C.D. friends, a week from now we shall joy playing it at Concarino.Doki doki(*_*)

Wonderful poem, Elena. A mother losing a child, so well put in words The feelings the loss and love. Love is in the end what counts Love is what will last and survive Very well written, very poetic.

Sweet is always in mother lips...And mother is nothing more than love from her, i love this writing...God sure can create anyone and creature without mother, BUT He want everyone to feel the Loves, to stay in relationship, to find strong when it's weak, to smile when we sad, ..LOve is pure delivered from mother, to care them from a small till we all become independent, in circulation of life...so it's very important to care our mother..Such a beautiful poem_Unwritten Soul

a very thought provoking philosophic poem that brings about the truth of life. Nothing waits. Births and deaths in the midst we carry on. While births give us immense plessure and if by hiddn hands of god if that is snatched away, then it is time to brood. But the great leveller, TIME, gives us solace and we move on and on.
