Instances Of Insight Poem by Andrew Lunel

Instances Of Insight

Sitting on the stone inhaling the toxic fumes,
Taking the last few views of our past,
Seeing all the shades of green and noticing the life around this
Once dead to the eyes of mine,
In my ignorance I see where I probably first bled,
Where I once played for hours with my own friend, he is no more.

The rain brought the view into deeper perception,
One of awe actually at home it all goes round,
Transfer of randomness that inspires life.
My own moments of randomness have yet to hit,
Yet again I am with a different friend,
his feelings certainly in existence
And his emotions silent, yet silence speaks to us all,
I feel stupid to call him a friend but that’s the truth.
My eyes sometimes shown me what I want and my actions try to help the cause.
Yet there are millions like me.
The sum of all actions today
Shun the beauty that does hit the eye.

If the ranting of a mad man seem inconceivable.
There still might be truth in his words,
Action and it’s subsequent reaction.
If words mean nothing, actions will. The very action that arise
From the minds of millions?
Conflicting views hurt the common cause
Yet showing progress, our society grows from its mistakes.

Thought is beauty
Thought is death
Thought is the greatest gift that we have.
Public or in private its our one recluse,
Life and thought in harmony will never be
Thought’s actions can cut the thread that hold delicate life
Bleeding everyone here goes through
Healing is divine
To cure is to save and to give back the life that was once perfect
My disease? Our disease?
There is a cure.
The cure will come when its most needed
Living life for that instant worth living for?
Must be if its been done for ages with improvement to our benefit.
Not the unconcern for the source of the cure.

Word has freedom in the open minds
Thought gives the word
So could the cure be in the mind?
A connection of minds yield a cure?
Lilies of the thunder shoot to the skies
Monsoon of life has begun.
And its heavy and powerful
Survival of individuals depends largely on survival of society.
Helix simplicity with the greatest of all detail
In all of life giving each its own identity, my identity
And our lives being only half moves at once.
