In This Ocean Of Joy Poem by Hebert Logerie

I will swim with faith
In this ocean of joy
While the sharks are sleeping
And the angels are armed with huge arrows
To protect me against any insecurity.

I will dive into this pond of beauty
Where little fish dance at the bottom
Of the sea. I will not swim like a lead
Where we'll play in the sea like two babies
Grown up and aged in ebullient ebb and flow.

I will swim with jubilation
In the skimmed waves of tenderness
Porpoises will be on vacation
And the whales will be absent from the dance
I will swim faithfully
In this ocean of joy.
