The love I had been searching for
Found it at last
Loved her with love and lust,
But that love is now lost.
Now, again though I search the love
But with a little change of taste.
Not only a mere physical love
But a love being wide open.
A universal love I need
To reach me to a great height indeed! !
Where love and peace coexist
With it's amazing beauty.
Enabling me to experience
The eternity of it! ! !

Loved it... Love is small but it empowers the owner...however.. Only unconditional true love and universal love can do that_soul
Amitava, it seems you have accepted the loss of your true love, and are now looking for a different type of love, not merely physical, but an all-encompassing love to take you into eternity. Moving forward towards it, now that you have defined what you're looking for. A very sad labor of love, yet some peaceful hope looking forward.
Where love and peace coexis tWith it's amazing beauty. a wonderful message in a great poem.
Love is the requirement for the soul is one part but the body is for other..since body enjoys through soul yet spirituality is a basically love felt and realised by the soul only...lovely Amitva

Needed is universal love With eternity as the goal Beautifully summarized the kind love needed in this world. Thank you.
Beautiful poem. This is eternal love. Love of soul. To travel on this path is hard because our thoughts are taking us to this path.. but once achieved, one will know the real meaning of life. This love cannot be snatched away by any time or anything. This love is within us. One has to go deeper into self to attain it. I loved this poem very much. Thanks for sharing with us.
The poet in introspection is seeking a feel of Platonic love that abounds in plenty amidst us if we see and recognise it. Small but powerful, the poem is insightful sir.
Dream of deeper blisses realised in eternal love like a lotus dreaming a sweet morn and when it comes, a soul is born...........very well composed.....Amitavaji.....10/10
