If You Poem by Unintelligible Susurration

If You

Rating: 4.0

If you were to appear
Suddenly by my side
I would embrace you
And place a single
Warm kiss upon
The smooth plains of your cheek

We would run away together
To another world
Where there are no regrets
Together we will conquer our fears

We will scream and shout
And laugh and cry
You and I will feast upon
Our newfound love
We will let no one come between us

And if you appeared suddenly
At my door
I would welcome you
And give you the key to my heart
For you to throw
Into the mysterious depths
Of the neverending ocean
To declare our love once and for all
