If I Were My Li'l Dog Max Poem by Dipy Hermonite

If I Were My Li'l Dog Max

If I were my li'l dog ‘Max'
And if I were to vote,
I'd be at a loss I'm sure,
‘bout demonetised notes!
What's this thing ‘bout temples then?
And why're cows better than me?
And why do humans fight about
their religion, caste or creed?
How's the colour of saffron always better than white or green?
Should they not be thinking of
But killing the word called ‘mean'?
Do they know ‘bout God at all
Or is it just a clutch?
Used to fool the not so smart
Who'll kill coz they'd said ‘must'! !
Is it really complex now
To try and understand?
That t'was really not that God made man,
But man who made God stand! !
For had it not been done by him,
Who'd have given him power?
Didn't he always want control?
Now he's madder by the hour!
Why does he always only lie?
And say that he does care?
Whilst all the time he only quips,
"Try'n stop me if you dare! ! "
All I want is to wag my tail,
And play around in peace!
Scare some when I'm juvenile,
And love some when on leash! !
I've fallen in love with the cat next door,
For I've just realised,
I don't think I'll be man's best friend,
For in my eyes he's died! ! !
Bow wow wow! ! Woof?
