I Had Once A Care

Rating: 5.0

Each night was long, I never had enough
Each hill you pushed me up led down to you;
Each day the yellow sun came up again
Each cloud I touch, you turn I kiss each eye.

I once had care and loved you very much
and both have left there, a mark inside of me.
Was it not enough you found me, even though.
and beating hard, I hear your heart, it leaves.

No one can answer questions of the future, just living in the now, is the best we can do and it had to be enough or it would have been more, springs to my poetic mind. Great work. Highly romantic and yet tragically stated. Love the title Smiling at you Tai
