I Go Weak At The Knees Poem by Mark Heathcote

I Go Weak At The Knees

Rating: 5.0

I'm in the mood for writing songs
cause I'm a shipwreck in your hair
trying to steer a course, gentle and fair.

I'm in the mood for singing blues songs
remembering the years in the dark
till it was, I, rambled-lost into your heart?

Yes, I'm in the mood for a sad song,
but-my-siren yours is all I want to hear
my heart and soul are like a fish in your creel.

And darling-isn't that why the sea squeals
oh, darling-isn't it why a storm screams?
And darling-isn't that why I go weak at the knees?

You are in nice mod of penning poems of greater worth and now you are in mood of singing. Remembering the years in the dark still you keep light in heart. This poem is beautiful poem expressed with wonderful thought...10
