I Can'T Surpass Poem by Neela Nath Das

Tried though...
Tied.
But, I can't surpass
the Star, I want
to touch...
Is it of Fire?
Shall I melt
like Icarus?
My wings
will get
broken
and my heart
will be in parts!
I'm enduring
all those
suffering,
inside,
outside
just to knock
at the door
of my poem,
my Pole-star,
and you- - - -
headstrong,
bitter-tongued,
barren! !
But, I sensed
the underlying
river,
emotional,
free-flowing,
desirous to
move with
sweet will.
For you,
and for this poem
I am searching
words
just now! !
