Rating: 3.0

***I am so sorry that i hurt you with my words.
They should have been sweet; they were turds.

I am sorry we are 'broken up' now, it is true.
***I hope this apology brings me back to you!

This and a promise, which I hope I can keep:
I'll use no hurtful words, OR I'll not say a peep!

***I'm now SORRY! I was so careless and VERY stupid.
I'm desperate, so desperate I've consulted with Cupid.

***The words were unintentional heedless thoughts I threw.
Please tell me now: 'How can I make it all up to You? '

***I am SO sorry! Deep inside I know you're still bleeding.
Please give me another chance. To you now I am pleading.

I love you still. I miss you at all times. Say we can go back...
to where we were. If I misbehave again, just give me a crack!

***A crack on my stupid and at times thoughtless head.
Being without you feels horrible; I almost feel dead.

I am sorry. I'm am so Sorry. I AM SO SORRY my Love.
Come back to me and, once again, I'll believe in angels above.

XOX

Yours (I hope) ,

Jr. Cuyam

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Poet's notes (Bri's notes) .

Jr. Cuyam asked me for help in winning his girlfriend back by having me give him advice on his poem Breaking You. First I told him his poem was more like a lecture than an apology. Then I wrote my poem in my second comment on his poem.

HIS poem NEVER mentions "love" or "sorry"! ! ! I used some of the words of his poem (but not MANY of them) and my words to suggest a more winning approach to her heart. MY mate always insists on an apology ……even when I feel none is called for! ! ! Eventually I usually do apologize to her. : (

Even if she is not sure I am being sincere, my "apologies" seem to soothe her. Ha ha! :) :)

Bri …………the experienced apologizer!
