Homework Poem by Danette Frenz

Homework

I’m a little scared,
Or do I need to care?
Keep avoiding the work
My feelings do lurk.
I need to sit down
Let my thoughts unwound,
Homework that’s unfound.
Stop procrastinating!
It’s this thinking thing!
I’ve got to focus,
Let it become a locust.
Consume my energy,
Let out the synergy.
I can do this essay,
And finish it today!
