Hugs And Kisses For Tessa Poem by Danette Frenz

Hugs And Kisses For Tessa

I find myself blinking back tears,
When nobody hears.
I wanted you so much,
To feel your touch.

The pain I feel,
Is so unreal.
But the love I feel,
No one can steal…

I love you Tess,
Chestnut brown hair,
Freckled skin so fair.

Bought you a little pooh bear,
Sunflower stamp right there…
On its little foot…
Did take root.

You took root in my heart,
No arrow can pierce nor dart.
Hugs and Kisses,
Mommy misses
You.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It is therapeutic to write about Tessa. Some might say not dwell on it and move on. This is helping me to heal and move on...to write about someone that inspires me. Dedicated to a part of me, always, Tessa.
