Hollow
You dropped by with
A short notice
When emotion was high
And to you I did miss
You did not stay as long
As I wished you to
When love was growing
With a new hue
You went away without
Leaving any clue
I woke up at dawn to find
You were not true
ahhh....those few satisfying dreams that leave us still longing for more. And yet, such is life. The beautiful and truly satisfying, always so fleeting. Reminding us that all of life leaves us longing for the deeper satisfactions of eternity. Very enjoyable read, Tiku. Thank you!

A dream is but a dream, and can not last long.Still we love to cling to beautiful dreams.Without dreams life is meaningless.Thank you for sharing this lovely poem.
