Hatred Is Hell Poem by Hebert Logerie

Hatred Is Hell

Hate begets punishment and pain
Hatred is the reverse
Of everything that's positive and green
Hate is hell
It's kissing the crown of thorns.

Hatred is ignorance
Hate is fear.

Hatred has no place in our sphere
Love is not his rival
What we see at the carnival
Is carnage, at the festival
Countless fools are hung in the cellar.

Hate is pain
Hatred is indifference.

Hatred can only destroy
Hate is hell
That's the opposite of joy
Listen to the wailing of the worms
Fiddling with the brain and the skull.

Wonderful piece. You have captured the very essence of one of the most painful emotions. Yes, hate begets pain.10
