Frozen Love Poem by Marieta Maglas

Frozen Love

Rating: 5.0

My frozen eyes can see eternal youth
In lands with frozen meadow, where thou live,
Coming from stars that always hide the truth
In icy love, which has cold thrills to give.

And when this love eternal cannot be
Or icy thrills can disappear in time,
The eyes of truth dream only to be free.
The sky can tear sweet dreams that are sublime.

But icy tears will reach my prayer's goal,
In His green lands, where love and hopes are true.
And grass can grow in vernal, loving souls.
Stars restart to shine in a unique hue.

What is icy that is always frozen..is proved now but why then we long for summer with ice-blond blue-eyed women to feel the white flakes of love`s nimbus cloud in blue firmament? -the summers we have are not enough for a lifetime to melt the ice...in life therefore many of us end up something or somewhere where we participate the peace and patchwork of breaking the ice a bit..the rest all remains a longing in words-iced up to be poetry..well written...inspiring poetry
