For Sanctity Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

For Sanctity

For sanctity

I am female
With lot more to tell
And I know that shell fall
With deaf ears and receive no appeal

I have suffered since centuries
And still there is no let up sign in miseries
I have been played as commodity
This is really pity

I reared human beings
Kept them near and embraced to bring
All kinds of happiness
With no worry lines on face

No matter who speaks what!
But I have always fought
Against ill treatment
With no words and remained silent

It is insult go creator
Who gave so many honors?
To the role of mother as woman
Whereas we are considering her as mean

Rape is committed on us
Acid is thrown on us
Why no one finds us so beautiful to preserve
For sanctity to maintain and observe

For Sanctity
