Got to tell you every day

I've got to show my happiness
because happiness is me

I've loved you for so long

I've got to really thank you
for all you've done for me

I've got to hold you, shake you
You don't know you're amazing?

Got to tell you
that I love you
How you've shaped me
Made me happy

Got to tell you the truth
Not trying to flatter you
Just trying to pay my dues

Got to stretch out my arms
and fly away
Into the sky of happiness

Got to reach out my arms
and open up this cage
Not living here no longer
For happiness awaits
