Expectations Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Expectations

Rating: 5.0

What you eat
You want it
Nutritious
And delicious.

Where you live
You want it
Extremely neat
And serene.

Sure you want
That your work
Is interesting
And challenging.

You want others
To be helpful
Well behaved
And encouraging.

You know it clearly
That you should help
Others get what you
Expect for yourself.

Yes, 'do unto others what you would want others to do unto you'! It is a golden principle! If we expect from others what we desire, give them also what they would desire! Your poems always are nuggets of wisdom!
