Dying Poem by Rebecca Lyle

Dying

Rating: 5.0

Dying

I was asked
Are you afraid to die?
I replied, no
I think death will be like letting go.

But, I am terrified of
Watching the ones I love the most
Let go
Knowing I can do nothing.

Quite simple and elegant. I feel exactly like that myself. I've actually quite consciously striven all my life to overcome fear of death since I read somewhere that it's the basics of the so-called path of the Warrior.

I have always felt like death is a release into the next life but watching you love die is so very hard.
