DREAMING INTO ZEN!

I dreamt that I was standing on a
Shakespearian stage,
With foot lights glaring on my face,
To perform before a live audience!
There were no prompters around,
And I could only hear the soliloquy of
my own sound!
I spoke about life and death, and of life
hereafter,
When someone from the audience shouted,
' Friend, nothing comes hereafter! '
I wished that I could prove him wrong,
But I had my part to perform!
Later on reflecting, I thought perhaps that
man was right!
We must live this life in its instants and
abide!
Perhaps heaven and hell was the creation of
our mind!
So let us turn inwards and through zazen*,
Awaken our inner consciousness to attain
enlightenment;
For this is the Philosophy of Japanes Zen!
