Do Not Have Much Desire On Such A Decaying Body! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

Do Not Have Much Desire On Such A Decaying Body!

Will the esteemed people, who speak excited,
‘O' the young girl resembling mango offspring',
Not think of the nature of her decaying body?

If the skin of her body is cut to the tiniest portion
To the extent of the size of the wing of the fly,
A stick might be needful to chase the crow!

Do not have much desire on such a decaying body
That might get infected with germs leading to ulcer
For which the crows are attracted to eat the germs,
Followed by the need for a stick to chase the crow!
