Chronic Alcoholism! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

another conundrum in life. do we do away with chronic alcoholics, by encouraging suicide on their part? it's not a terrible idea in some cases, i think. OR do we stop each shopper at the door to the shop and ask: Pardon me. Are you a chronic alcoholic, or do you PLAN to be one? . IF their answer to either question is yes, they have to have someone else buy their wine for them! or steal it, or turn to some other 'vice' to help them get through their day. like television 10 hours a day? i wonder if India ever had national Prohibition, like the U.S. did years ago. it didn't work too well from what i've heard. i imagine the benefits of easily-available alcohol outweigh (for the population, as a whole) the..............what is the opposite of benefits? non-benefits? ? bri ;)
