I have sought you in class and in the halls
In restaurants and shopping malls,
At early dinners and late lunches
And on trains and city buses.
Though I've sought you, ceaseless, night and day
I have never, yet, had the chance to say:
I want to be the one for you
And I want you to be the one for me, too.
I will seek you, ceaseless, for all time,
Until the one I am seeking I find.
