For the lovers in Canada
The days are extremely dull
But the nights are definitely exciting
And somehow in some way
Drama comes to suspense builds
Whether you're a boy or a girl
Whether you're a man or a woman
One thing's definitely certain
With the help of a closing curtain
Canada is for lovers

Canada is for lovers
Whether by sitting on the couch and holding hands
Or kissing, hugging, and touching
Should they go further or should they even bother
Their lover's aim is either true or it's really misguided

Canada is for lovers
They always know when to push the envelope
They always know when to up the ante
They try to keep things secrets
But they really can't
No matter how hard they try

Canada is for lovers
Even the air knows it
Even the flowers know it
And even if the elements don't show it
It's still crystal clear for all to see

They say love makes the world go round
Even if it's not a world in the perfect sense
