Sadie Hawkins Dance Poem by Justin Gildow

Sadie Hawkins Dance

What a night it could be
You and me
A Sadie Hawkins Dance and beautiful scenery

Candles lit tonight
Sensuality and sentimentality all around
Fast song or slow ballad
Let's make this night wonderful tonight

We might rest and drink strawberry shakes
Or let our feet have a rest
But let's have faith we'll have more memories to make

This probably feels like a dream come true or a fairy tale
All complete with a nightingale
I'm happy you haven't become a wallflower
Especially around me
Let's breathe in the night
Let's gaze at the scenery
Let's have a few laughs and smiles
Because with you, you make tonight worthwhile
And I have no regrets
And in the end
This was all worth it
