Burden On His Back Poem by Incognito Pseudonymosx

Burden On His Back

Rating: 4.5

He sat with the world, a burden on his back,
He smiled thoroughly but his problems are stacked,
emotions are hidden, stock up and locked,
Hidden deep within forever, oh how the world will mock.

A treasure in his chest, heart clamoring for luck,
betrayed, he has fallen, forever on his back,
Will he stand, feet apart,
watchin the world like a hawk

Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and insightfully penned in poetic diction. Failure does not defeat someone who has learned to keep the fate and take situations in stride. A good poem with beautiful rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Arca.
