Burden On His Back

He sat with the world, a burden on his back,
He smiled thoroughly but his problems are stacked,
emotions are hidden, stock up and locked,
Hidden deep within forever, oh how the world will mock.
A treasure in his chest, heart clamoring for luck,
betrayed, he has fallen, forever on his back,
Will he stand, feet apart,
watchin the world like a hawk

Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and insightfully penned in poetic diction.
