Always Be Poem by Incognito Pseudonymosx

Always Be

When you tossed that shining coin back then,
I never knew it would never be the same,
It's like you were never there, nor I was either,
failing innocently, betrayed like a tainted feather,

So I thought it would be gone, like it usually does,
but as time went on and the tomorrows' passed,
slowly breaking, slowly drifting apart,
I waited and waited, for you to come back,
but you never did, nor i think you ever will,
I was fading, just the background,
You were there, but why was I here?
we were always together, yeah it's true you've changed,
It's true about what they're always saying,
People change, nothing is ever permanent in this world,
not even the angels, because the devils where once angels,
and you've changed, so much,
you are now a stranger, a stranger that i shared memories with.
But i just want you to know that even if this no existent bond
is broken, I'm there for you,
I'll always be.
