Statue Poem by Incognito Pseudonymosx

Statue

leaf-lit afternoon, I was there,
waiting, standing, for me, life was fair,
I did nothing but merely stare,
at the stone covered statue hare.

hours had passed, daybreak came,
she never made it, what a shame,
guess i'll wait till tomorrow came,
this spot, that statue, still the same

It's now summer, Where were you?
you said you'd come like you promised to,
I pretended not the care, I know you do,
You said, 'forever', is it true?
