Brother And Sister Went To School!
The eight years old Ezhil and his sister Thamarai
..who live in the slum huts on the banks of Cooum
went to school today for the first time;
When the government temporarily settled the people,
- in the government school buildings - who lived in the
low lying slums and were affected by the floods!
Note:
Once Cooum was a river with clear water, now it is stinking with polluted sewage.

பள்ளிக்கூடம் சென்றார்கள்
கூவத்தின் கரையில் உள்ள
குடிசைக் குடியிருப்புகளில் வசிக்கும்
எட்டு வயது எழிலும் அவன் தங்கை தாமரையும்
இன்று பள்ளிக்கூடம் சென்றார்கள் - முதல் முறையாக -
தாழ்வான சேரிகளில் வசிக்கும்
வெள்ளத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களை
அரசு, மாநகராட்சிப் பள்ளிகளில்
