I've got poems. Yes, I do.
I've got poems for me and you!
I've got serious poems and some not.
I've got poems for laughs and poems
for tears. I may have poems to quell
your fears! !
I've got poems about death and I've
poems ‘bout sex & poems on other
topics which might (you) vex**.
I've got poems ‘bout poems & I've 1
or 2 about books, some about "good souls"
& 1 about crooks!
I've got poems for kids & poems for adults,
poems of goodness & poems of faults!
I have totally true ones & others not.
I've ones very short & some with a plot.
I've many animals: froggies and doggies;
a cat with a hat & a nice Xmas rat; a spider
saved by a girl; a snake which, to swallow a
boy, does unfurl; young eagles on their nest,
and a ‘Mom' salamander at rest!
I've got poems of God & 1 of Devil. I am
not fooling; I'm ‘on the level'! Wedding
poems I have & one of a strange‘Fun-eral'
too, & one of two boys dying in the outdoor
tiger cage of a zoo.
I've a scary Alien-Oyster poem, & 2 about
giant movie ape King Kong, & ones about
people in-the-right and those in-the-wrong.
I've people in most poems I suppose.
Perhaps even YOU are in one of those!
There is me,
Brian, also known as "bri", & classmates-of-
old, from good old (NY State) Geneva High.
There are others (people) in my poems to be
sure: my family: 1 mom,1 dad,3 brothers, &
my 1 child (a girl) & her 1 child, a son.There
are my four wives. Yes, I said 4, no more &
no less. I believe in sharing myself. I confess!
There is a doctor, a roofer, an accidental-
hacker, a dead U.S. soldier, & a moron
grocery-packer. I've a poem of a ‘tall-persons'
serial killer (it is gross) , & one entitled Creation,
which ends with a baby's birth. It's a real thriller! !
I have 1 (or 2) featuring my colonoscopies, & one
called A Mouse In My Stomach, and one about
skin cancer on my chest which has been completely
removed; about that I will not jest.
I wrote of a sailboat's bleak outlook at sea, &
of years-gone-by Halloweens, always fun for me.
I have a poem about The Color Green, & one
about a zebra's stripes, black & white, ..
and a poem of political opponents Hillary & Donald.
Who NOW has more gripes?
I've a VERY LONG set of rhyming poems
(set up as "Books" with "Chapters") with two main
characters, Sheila & Clifford, Americans who start
(apart) as vacationers in the Bahamas. Follow their
frolics and their futures, their engagement, work,
and marriage, & parenthood, up till the time I
suspended writing about S & C years ago,
after about 16 "Books" due to minimum
attention from readers. :)
I have written of a plastic bottle, discarded,
and a human & chocolate candy-romance: ..
how it ended and started.
I have a pair of poems: one pair of a young
father who hopes his kids will learn to spell
better than he does &: one pair (I THINK)
about outdoor seeds (grape and apple?) ,
which, to make desires of a human couple
come true, begain growing outside their
house, but the plants went "too far"; they just
grew & GREW!
And soon the well-meaning plants' branches
& vines covered windows and doors! ! No one
could exit or enter the house. No one could
get through!
((there IS a happy ending))
[[ I had more poems about my poems in my
old flip cell phone, but I accidentally erased
those (I THINK) . ]] : (
Readers (if any) :
If you see no poems from me which interest
you, there are even more you may ignore.
In fact, in all of PoemHunter there may be
millions of poems you're allowed (for free) to
ignore, in which case you may find a safe
resting place in which to nap/sleep & snore!

Such a wide variety of poems you have! Congratulations! I strongly recommend readers to explore Bri Edwards Poems.
Bri, You please suggest ways how to find a particular poem of yours. Many times I face difficulty to find a poem from your poem list.
Certainly, my friend. Non-friends are not to peek! ! ! ! ! OPEN A SEARCH TAB ON GOOGLE with 'bri edwards' and the poem title or topic. That sometimes works for me. Good hunting! !
I had greatly enjoyed your poem on the apple seed! Readers should have a look at this poem.
All the poems you mentioned in the list are worthy reading. The poem about the a plastic bottle, discarded, is such a wonderful write -funny as well as interesting. How our negligence leads to a heavy burden on the environment!
I've eaten so many plasticized/plasticised? ocean fish that I'M NOW 1/2 PLASTIC myself! ! !
Good one. I had missed this. Today, poet Bharati Nayak has made a comment on the poem, which lead me to it. More, later on
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
