Bloody English Tongue! ! ....[ English Language Complications; Poem Idea From Kostas Lagos; Very Short ]

Rating: 3.3

I tried to stanch* the bleeding** of my "native tongue*** ",
which has plagued the old as well as the young.

Language IS very handy for communicating, ...but,
due to ambiguities****, it can at times be SO frustrating!

Very thought provoking, Bri. One can have 'blood on the hands.' I mean that metaphorically. What about blood on the tongue? ? Can a call to bad actions, to ends that are destructive, cause blood on the tongue? ? This is a fabulous verse, Bri.
