Bittersweet Indulgence Poem by Unnamed Weirdo

Bittersweet Indulgence

She would gladly with all her heart, if only she could
Can't deny this feeling, though I know she should
She's lost far away, deep somewhere I can't find
Already forgotten the harsh reality of the world left behind
The time has finally come, when the truth will be laid ahead
And all the efforts will come to finally realize, to be led
But she's not here, nor can she hear, my woeful cries
Followed by all the sorrows, miseries and all those lies
That fill her thoughts and fantasies, every precious dream
That turn into nightmares and a loud demeaning scream
Her feet may be in the soft earth, laid upon the ground
But her head, I must sadly say, still soars up in a cloud
Even in the darkness, the light keeps her up all night
In the attempt to hold forever, a chimera with all her might
The blood is boiling, every drop, as I try to figure her out
But all I can see in the mirror are those lips, still in pout
I try to reach for her, to pull her back from her frivolities
But how can I pull someone so far from all her realities
I would gladly with all my heart, if only I could
Can't deny this feeling, though I know I should
I am lost so far away, deep somewhere no one can find
Already forgotten the harsh reality of the world left behind
