Where I Want To Go Poem by Unnamed Weirdo

Where I Want To Go

The sun shines through white clouds,
the lovely daisies smell fresh, surrounds
The west winds blow so warmly and gentle
to move one's persona and their mettle

This is where I want to go
Where spirits flourish and grow
Somewhere I want to be
nothing but fantasies about me

Colours of blue, green and yellow
swirl about in a dance, so mellow
Setting a tranquil mood and feel
The surrounding is bliss, so surreal

This is where I want to go
Where spirits flourish and grow
Somewhere I want to be
nothing but fantasies about me

The rustling of the hanging leaves
moves inwards and with air, breathes
The sounds of their merry and music sing
lulling me to the calm sleep they bring

This is where I want to go
Where spirits flourish and grow
Somewhere I want to be
nothing but fantasies about me

The water's glistening face smiles
as she continues her journey for miles
Her welcoming voice, and sweet taste
vanquishes all thirst and rids haste

This is where I want to go
Where spirits flourish and grow
Somewhere I want to be
nothing but fantasies about me

I sit under the oak trees, under shade
The music humming, the colours made
The honey sugar on my lips, and sweet
the west wind whispering goodbye, till we meet

This is where I want to go
Where spirits flourish and grow
Somewhere I want to be
nothing but fantasies about me

I drift off to slumber, my eyes weary
My heart slowing from all the joy and merry
The music softens, the colours fade away
The taste turns bitter, the daisies turn nary

This is where I want to go
Where spirits flourish and grow
Somewhere I want to be
nothing but fantasies about me

Blurriness is present, and uneasiness
my reality makes dreams meaningless
Back to black, white and gray
Where all fantasies have drifted away

That was where I wanted to go
Where spirits flourished and began to grow
Somewhere I wished I could be
nothing but fantasies about me
