Becoming A Forgotten Song. Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Becoming A Forgotten Song.

If I disappeared tomorrow, If I decided to go for a walk to the end of the earth, would anyone notice I was gone?
Is there any importance in becoming the forgotten song?
Escaping the silent memories.
The reoccurring dreams continue to wash of over me.
Like I'm suppose to know what they mean.
I don't.
The answers will not come.
Maybe they were never suppose to.
Acceptance as the ocean takes me.
Where I just don't know.
But I surrender because I'm just too tired of fighting it.
Like a pull to a grave.
To be dead and buried.
Is it not but a ferry?
Do you have coins to cross?
Denied passage because of who you are.
Then take who I am, and make it into who you want me be.
