Beautiful - Poem by Betania ...

Beautiful

He called me beautiful
His first words to me
I will never forget that

He called me beautiful
Those were his words
When I first met him

He called me beautiful
Wasn't flirting with me
But he saw me as such

He called me beautiful
He respected me so
I thanked him for that

He called me beautiful
There was no malice
In his heart's intentions

He called me beautiful
Saw past my physique
Impacted by my soul

He called me beautiful
Others saw my flesh
The real me he did see

He called me beautiful
It was never more than
Pure admiration for me

He called me beautiful
He didn't know my view
Beautiful I saw him too

He called me beautiful
He impressed me also
I call him beautiful alike

He called me beautiful
He failed miserably so
His words stay with me

He called me beautiful
No games played then
There was none of that

He called me beautiful
And I fell for his heart
It wasn't his intentions

He called me beautiful
Honorable man was he
His memory still lingers

He called me beautiful
How could I be such
I never believed him so

He called me beautiful
He wasn't a man of lies
Always spoke the truth

He called me beautiful
I will believe his words
In memories they'll live

He called me beautiful
I am beautiful because
His words revealed me

He called me beautiful
Forever beautiful I'll be
Thanking him for him

He called me beautiful
I smile as I think of him
Beautiful he'll forever be

He called me beautiful
His first words to me
I will never forget that

Beautiful I shall remain....
Beautiful he'll always be....
