Baby's World

Rating: 3.3

I wish I could take a quiet corner in the heart of my baby's very
own world.
I know it has stars that talk to him, and a sky that stoops
down to his face to amuse him with its silly clouds and rainbows.
Those who make believe to be dumb, and look as if they never
could move, come creeping to his window with their stories and with
trays crowded with bright toys.
I wish I could travel by the road that crosses baby's mind,
and out beyond all bounds;
Where messengers run errands for no cause between the kingdoms
of kings of no history;
Where Reason makes kites of her laws and flies them, the Truth
sets Fact free from its fetters.

I wish I could take a quiet corner in the heart of my baby's very own world. I know it has stars that talk to him, and a sky that stoops down to his face to amuse him with its silly clouds and rainbows......I have thought the same things often of my children. Just beautiful!

Gurudev Tagore's poems are much respected and loved all over the world since humanity and its rich values always represents the creativity. The holistic approach to life is also a theme and every line of poem is worth to human uplift and self awareness and Geethanjali for which Nobel prize won is will be popular as long as literary works are there. This poem in its lines gives the positive emotions to the relation between a little child and the great poet wishes to have a quite corner in the heart of the baby and also the interesting aspect of little ones mindset with respect to nature, the cloud rainbows and everything attracts the little mind. I respectfully express my gratitude for getting a chance to recall the lines in this poem hunter com.

To be innocent as a child and to enjoy the nature around is a gift that is valuable for a poet in whose thoughts and deeds God always is preferred

None can better explain the inexplicable baby's world better than the legendary and visionary - R.N. Tagore.
