Awakening
I’ve learned a lot by knowing you
And knowing you better leads me to realize
That I must live my life all over again…
To renew the fate I must follow,
To dare dread to paths I am not used to…
Yet with you by my side…
I feel stonger,
More prepared to endure the heartaches
I must bear with you…
For I know now…
Love isn’t always agreeable to my expectations,
It must sometimes be bitter…
Somehow…
It is in bitterness that we even appreciate
our love’s sweetest moments.
I like this a lot Virginia, wonderfully put into words the feelings and emotions of love's and life's rollercoaster.

Defnitely Virginia, bitterness and sweetness do play both their part in every loving relationship. The bitterness tends to be the thing that makes us stronger.
