Ave Maria, Notre Dame Of Paris Was Aflame Poem by Hebert Logerie

Ave Maria, Notre Dame Of Paris Was Aflame

Our Lady of Paris's tower was ablaze today
"Je vous salue, Marie pleine de grâce"
" I salute you, Mary full of grace"
Thank God, it was not terrorism. It was a bad day
It was a human error, an accident while renovation
Was being done. Despite the swift and fast reaction
Of the brave firefighters, the tall tower had collapsed
By the ferocious fire. That was a shame. As time elapsed
The tourists were aghast and the world was shocked
By the loss of such a beautiful ceiling that I was blessed
To see twice during my visits. Paris really got rocked
In a strange way today. Thank God, this unfortunate mess
Will be taken care of expeditiously, naturally and efficiently
Let's pray for a quick renovation. Notre Dame of Paris
Belongs to us all. Ave Maria! Let's pray for the workers
And for everyone in our beautiful Universe
"Je vous salue, Marie pleine de grâce"
"Hail Mary, full of grace"
