Away From Me Poem by Hebert Logerie

Away From Me

Rating: 5.0

You now stay away from me
Away from the most adoring tree
I laugh and laugh
What a gaffe
I no longer think of you
I have moved on
To a new destination
I belong to a new crew
I have moved on
To a new location
I'm no longer in your shadow
There is a new tomorrow
You're now behind the curtain
I'm absolutely sure and certain
That I am trying to forget your face
Your name and the surface
That you once stepped on
Sayonara, I have moved on
I no longer think on you
I'm well and have moved on too.

A well expressed poem that captures great determination to move on to another life's journey.
