At Such An Age Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

At Such An Age

At this age

Next is next
When you try to deliver your best
It is experience that is put to test
May be for many to detest

It never dies
The person always tries
To look young and caring
But alas! Life later on is boring

The stage is set in
You are not well trained
You are facing the near end
Many times the signals are sent

It is not helplessness
But cleverness
That you are defying the call
And trying to scale the wall

Be honest in revealing your profile
It must reflect in file
Then people may judge
What really you are looking at this age?
